A professional Vancouver couple commissioned CFI to transform a tired links side townhome into a sophisticated mountain retreat. This was achieved by employing douglas fir millwork, natural metal detailing and neutral toned finishes throughout, unifying the spaces within the townhome. The entrance hall was enlarged to accommodate recreational gear. The master suite was converted into a retreat with a spa style ensuite. A large scaled wood canopy was introduced over the new kitchen and bar area creating a more intimate space within the large volume of the grand room. A bold stairwell and fireplace were introduced in the grand room creating a focal point. The custom metal blind valances and stair railings offer the final touch of sophistication.
