Craftsmen detailing with contemporary materials were used to create a new home with heritage esthetic, fitting for the modern lifestyles of the client. Seamless flow between the exterior and interior palettes ensured a truly cohesive design and materials rich in colour and movement created vibrancy and interest. Play of colour against a neutral backdrop was achieved by including an aubergine coloured oven, opalescent purple glass tiles and mauve mohair soft furnishings. A sofa in chartreuse complimented the custom-designed, classic lounge furniture collection, area rugs and stately neutral millwork. Extensive detailing was pivotal to the success of the heritage feel of this urban home, apparent in the level of finishing in the cabinetry, coffered ceilings and wall paneling.

“Lynn Gentile from Cabin Fever Interiors in Whistler has assisted us in 3 major projects. Our experiences with her and her staff have been exceptionally enjoyable and satisfying. Lynn was able to assess our lifestyle and tastes and give us choices that we were very happy with. If we were unsure, we trusted her opinion without reservations. We found her attention to detail and her colour sense was amazing. We have absolutely no reservations about recommending her for any project for which she is considered.”
